The Recreation and Aquatics Center is closed from November 14 to January 2. The park will remain open to the public. Several warranty repairs including flooring replacements, gym floor painting, youth activity space enhancements, aquatics projects, and more will be completed during this time. 

The 86-acre Goodyear Recreation Campus provides residents with a state-of-the-art recreational facility, complete with a community park and aquatic center.

There’s something for everyone with classes and activities available for seniors, teens, families, and more!


November & December
Join us for one of the many classes in the Fitness in the Park Series during the month of November and December! Classes are free and open to the public.


November 23
Feast Mode is a drop-in style family fitness BootCamp incorporating a scavenger around the park. Families can complete the challenge any time between 3-6 p.m.


December 3
Run, walk, or roll(erskate) around the Goodyear Recreation Campus! This 5K welcomes all fitness abilities and ages.


December 12
Oh what fun, it’s the 12 Days of Christmas! Join us for 12-minute sessions of 12 different activities including pickleball, Zumba, obstacle courses, and more.


December 21
Don’t miss this final opportunity to get your fitness on before the holiday! Join the GRC fitness team for a smorgasbord or various fitness activities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Passholders have access to the fitness area, group fitness rooms, unlimited group fitness classes, indoor walking track, gymnasium, locker rooms, and aquatics center. The teen room and lobby do not require a pass and are open to the public.

The recreation and aquatics center is limited to Goodyear residents and their guests at this time. We look forward to offering non-resident passes in the future!

Monthly, semi-annual, and annual passes for individuals including youth, adults, and seniors can be purchased online through your recreation account.

Family passes, as well as day passes and punch passes for all age groups, must be purchased in person at the GRC Welcome Center.

There are several rooms, amenities, and fields available for rent. Rental schedules are subject to availability based on programming and scheduled open use times.

Reservable spaces include a large multipurpose room (3,000 sq.ft.), the play pool (w/ slide), the competition pool, and pool ramadas. In the park, the picnic ramadas, multi-use fields, baseball/softball fields, and sports courts (tennis, pickleball, basketball) can be reserved.

Anyone under 18 years of age must have a signed waiver by a parent or legal guardian on file.  Waivers can be downloaded here or signed in person at the Goodyear Recreation Welcome Center.
